Our efforts began with FlowerSchool in our floral design programs where all of our classes adopted an environmentally friendly approach.
We have since broadened our perspective to create an environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable venue for those who feel overwhelmed by the event industry’s biggest challenge, sustainability.
Low Waste Venue - We only use compostable and recyclable materials that we ensure are disposed of properly. Single use materials are reused at future events or donated.
Food Practices - Sourcing fresh, seasonal produce from small farms and an all vegetarian menu helps limit the carbon footprint produced by the meat industry.
Efficiency - We choose creativity over convenience by reusing supplies and supporting vendors with low carbon footprint.
Sourcing - Fair trade sustainable wholesalers and farms are our priority vendors. Knowing where and how goods are grown is essential for maintaining a sustainable practice.
Education - Offering environmentally friendly education can change peoples values and behaviors encouraging them to adopt more sustainable lifestyles.
